How I fell in love with the Ocean.

My connection with the ocean is more than just a physical love. It stems from a deep spiritual connection passed down through generations.

Ancestors before me hunted and gathered by the moon, voyaged the seas and shared stories of riding whales, representing the bond between humans and the natural world.

I am a Wahine Māori & a first generation Australian which makes me a true ‘‘Mozzie.’’

I am an environmental advocate, professional photographer, and videographer passionate about showcasing the beauty and fragility of marine ecosystems. Currently, based in Queensland, my focus is on documenting the unique biodiversity of the Great Barrier Reef, particularly around Magnetic Island, where I am fortunate to live.

The weightlessness, freedom & power the ocean provides is a feeling that cannot be expressed in words. Its love transcends beyond us, providing nourishment and new life that we are yet to explore.
